These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of JoinCareNest.com, the CareNest Family Care System, and related CareNest materials.

By using this website or purchasing CareNest, you agree to these Terms.

1. What CareNest is

CareNest is a family caregiving organization kit designed to help families coordinate care for an aging parent or loved one.

CareNest may include templates, guides, setup videos, worksheets, dashboard tools, email notification features, and related resources.

2. What CareNest is not

CareNest is not:

  • Medical advice
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Emergency monitoring
  • A healthcare provider platform
  • A substitute for professional care
  • A full electronic health record
  • A care management service
  • A guarantee that family members will participate or use the system

You should consult qualified medical, legal, financial, or caregiving professionals when appropriate.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call emergency services immediately.

3. Your responsibility

  • Deciding what information to enter into CareNest
  • Keeping your Google account secure
  • Managing who has access to your CareNest files or dashboard links
  • Confirming the accuracy of care information
  • Updating information when circumstances change
  • Using CareNest in a way that fits your family’s needs

CareNest helps organize information, but it does not verify accuracy, monitor care, or make decisions for you.

4. Google account and third-party tools

CareNest may rely on Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, Gumroad, email providers, or other third-party tools.

Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

CareNest is not responsible for outages, changes, limitations, access issues, or policy changes from third-party services.

5. License and permitted use

When you purchase the CareNest Family Care System, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your personal or family caregiving needs.

You may not:

  • Resell CareNest
  • Redistribute the files publicly
  • Share the product files as your own
  • Copy or modify CareNest to create a competing product
  • Sell access to CareNest templates, scripts, guides, or materials

6. Support

CareNest purchases include 30 days of email support for basic setup questions, unless otherwise stated on the sales page.

Support does not include medical, legal, or financial advice, emergency assistance, custom software development, done-for-you setup unless separately purchased, or troubleshooting unrelated Google account issues beyond the scope of CareNest.

7. Refunds

CareNest includes a 30-day money-back guarantee unless otherwise stated.

To request a refund, email within 30 days of purchase and include the email address used for your order.

Refunds may be processed through Gumroad and may be subject to Gumroad’s processing timelines and policies.

8. Medical Bill Error Detector

The Medical Bill Error Detector is a practical tool to help families review medical bills for common red flags and ask better questions.

It is not medical, legal, insurance, billing, or financial advice. It does not guarantee that a bill is correct or incorrect. You are responsible for confirming any billing questions with the provider, insurer, or qualified professional.

9. No guarantees

CareNest is designed to help families organize care information, but we do not guarantee that caregiving will become easier in every situation, family members will participate, information entered will be accurate or complete, care tasks will be completed, conflicts will be resolved, or the product will meet every family’s needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareNest and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, product, templates, guides, scripts, worksheets, or related materials.

Your use of CareNest is at your own discretion and risk.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes only. We may update, change, or remove content at any time.
